Job Summary:
The Engineer I provides administrative and operational support to the engineering team, ensuring smooth coordination of documentation, procurement processes, and project tracking. This role involves managing records, assisting with purchase orders, and supporting compliance with company standards and timelines.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
Administrative Support
- Maintain and organize engineering documentation, including technical drawings, reports, and project files.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and action item trackers.
Procurement & Purchase Orders
- Assist in the creation and submission of Shopping Carts, review of Purchase Order (PO) documents for engineering-related materials and services.
- Monitor the status of POs to ensure timely approvals and delivery of goods/services.
- Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or delays in procurement.
Data & Reporting
- Compile and update engineering metrics, cost reports, and inventory records.
- Maintain Shopping Cart reporting data
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing documentation
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with engineering terminology and processes is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
- Relevant Experience: 0 – 5 years of experience in engineering studies and analysis, applying engineering-related disciplines to solve moderate difficulty assignments
