POSITION SPECIFIC DESCRIPTION:
The Project Manager is a vital position responsible for the planning, organizing, and managing the internal and external resources, milestones, and deliverables that are subset of the overall transformation program plan focused on the establishing the 24/7 Fusion IT Monitoring Center using a Service Provider. The position will influence some of the key project decisions and outcomes.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with the Program leadership team to establish the various project plans and milestones for 24/7 IT Monitoring and Fusion Center Track
Engage internal and externals technical teams to drive technical architecture discussions for the establishing a comprehensive Infrastructure Monitoring Functions
Engage with EA and other internal technical teams to drive Infrastructure tools selection for the Fusion center operations
Work with the Fusion Center Operations Leader to establish work processes for various functions performed by the fusion center
Coordinate with the Facilities to oversee the realization of IT Fusion Monitoring center workspace in PGA office
Engage with Digital Workplace team in driving the installation of the A/v equipment and office space setup for the operating team
Engage with the Fusion Center Operations Leader and external service provider teams to build Farshore monitoring functions
Work with the Fusion Center Operations Leader facilitate the Fusion Center technical operating architecture for tools
Work with Fusion Center Operations Leader to in vendor selection for Fusion Center tools implementation
Manage PM from Services Provider for this initiative
Manage Risks, Issues, and Action items for the project
Facilitate issue resolution and decision making
Manage escalations and problem solving
Provide updates to Program leadership on the project progress
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
General understanding of the various best-in-class Infrastructure monitoring tools available in the market
Experience in working with Managed service provider offering remote infrastructure support services
Experience in in managing and implementing the ITIL processes
Experience in the implementing ServiceNow work management platform for the IT operations
Sound knowledge of the process engineering and IT work process design frameworks
General understanding of the Infrastructure tools and its integration with ServiceNow
Understanding of Service Catalog development process
GENERAL PRODUCTIVITY REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with large scale technology infrastructure implementations.
Experience with M365, Teams, Jira
Experience using Microsoft Project tools
Experience with SharePoint
Exceptional Data analysis skills using Excel
Exceptional Presentation and Dashboarding skills
Experience with using ServiceNow
Self-directed and not requiring step by step direction
Project risk Meeting management skills
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
PMP/Agile Certified
Agile work management experience
Bachelor’s degree in related field, such as information technology, computer science
Requires 5-8 years of relevant work experience
In-depth knowledge and experience managing projects across infrastructure domains (network, compute, collaboration)
Ability to work in a highly collaborative and highly matrixed, fast-paced, entrepreneurial, transparent, flexible and vendor centric work environment.
Pragmatic problem solver with good judgment, proactive and independent ability to recommend solutions to challenges
