POSITION-SPECIFIC DESCRIPTION:

The Project Manager is a vital position responsible for the planning, organizing, and managing of the internal and external resources, transition milestones, and deliverables that are a subset of the overall transformation program plan for the respective Service Towers. The I&O operations transformation program involves moving ticket resolution work to an external managed services provider involving all the activities required of the Knowledge Transition, stabilization, and strategy state.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with the Program leadership team to establish the various project plans and milestones for each Infrastructure Service Area

Engage with the Service Delivery leader of each Services Area to drive the execution of the plan.

Managed PMs from Services Provider to manage the transition of services from the internal staff to   external staff

Manage Risks, Issues, and Action items

Facilitate issues resolution and decision making

Manage escalations

Provide updates to Program leadership on the project progress

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Experience in Infrastructure Managed services outsourcing knowledge transitions

Experience in managing contract execution for typical infrastructure outsourcing

Familiarity with the managing knowledge transition during typical outsourcing across the following Service Areas – Networking, Data Center and Tools, Cybersecurity, Hybrid Cloud Operations, backup and Storage, Digital Workplace, etc.

Familiarity with implementation of SLAs

Experience with managing Infrastructure Policies and Procedure manual creation during Knowledge Transition

Experience in managing Managed Service provider resources onboarding and tracking.

GENERAL PRODUCTIVITY REQUIREMENTS:

Experience with large-scale technology infrastructure implementations.

Experience with M365, Teams, Jira

Experience using Microsoft Project tools

Experience with SharePoint

Exceptional Data analysis skills using Excel

Exceptional Presentation and Dashboarding skills

Experience with using ServiceNow

Self-directed and not requiring step by step direction

Project risk Meeting management skills

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

PMP/Agile Certified

Agile work management experience

Bachelor’s degree in related field, such as information technology, computer science

Requires 5-8 years of relevant work experience

In-depth knowledge and experience managing projects across infrastructure domains (network, compute, collaboration)

Ability to work in a highly collaborative and highly matrixed, fast-paced, entrepreneurial, transparent, flexible, and vendor-centric work environment.

Pragmatic problem solver with good judgment, proactive and independent ability to recommend solutions to challenges
