Job Overview

The Nuclear  Planner Scheduler Senior is a critical role responsible for the strategic planning, sequencing/scheduling, and documentation of maintenance, projects, and operational work within a nuclear  power plant.  This role interfaces with various plant departments to ensure the timely completion of tasks  while adhering to safety  protocols, regulatory requirements, and operational schedules. As required, the Nuclear  Planner Scheduler will occasionally fill in site lead.  Employees in this role will attend Site/ Fleet Online/Outage and other  meetings, as required, representing the

department.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Plans  and organizes preventive and corrective  maintenance activities for plant equipment and systems

Creates clear and concise  work instructions that are sequenced in a logical, efficient manner Ensures work instructions are performed in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

Reviews and interprets Engineering  Change implementation requirements

As required, conducts field walkdowns  to identify and analyze corrective  and preventative maintenance, modification,  and surveillance activities

Coordinates with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering  on work instruction  requirements Supports required testing  of updates to new and existing planning  and scheduling applications As required, supports all of the NextEra Energy nuclear  sites

As required, takes  on lead  planner role

Provides mentorship to junior planner schedulers

Performs  other  job-related duties  as assigned

Required Qualifications

High School  Grad / GED

Experience: 5+ years  of power plant,  construction, military, or similar experience in operations, maintenance, or work management

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Equivalent  Experience

Trade School  Graduate

Technical  Certificate Program
