The New York Power Authority (NYPA) is leading the way in New York for green hydrogen. In conjunction with GE Vernova, EPRI, Sargent & Lundy, Fresh Meadow Power, and Airgas, an Air Liquide company, a retrofit of their natural gas facility at the Brentwood Power Station on Long Island in Suffolk County, New York has been completed successfully. This was the first retrofit of an existing U.S. natural gas facility to operate on a blended mixture of natural gas and green hydrogen.
