Veterans Day doesn’t get the pomp and circumstance of other holidays. But every year on November 11, we take time to recognize those among us that were willing to give the ultimate sacrifice; the men and women who serve or have served in our armed forces. They are the veterans of the United States military.
How do you say thank you to millions of people who have given up years away from friends and family? Pay tribute to people who have risked life and limb so that we can live in the land of the free?
Take some time today to be thankful for those who have served, remember those that gave it all, and pray for the safe keeping of those that are serving. If you get the chance, shake the hand of a veteran TODAY, look him or her in the eye, and tell them THANK YOU.
